Gold ribbon
In 2016, California State Schools Superintendent Tom Torlakson awarded Primary Academy for Success with the Gold Ribbon Award for Excellence! Out of 6,000 eligible California elementary schools, 44 LAUSD schools were bestowed the Gold Ribbon. Parents,
On Thursday, 3/23, we will have our ELAC meeting at 9:00 and on Friday, 3/24 our SSC will meet at 2:30. LSLC will follow at the end of SSC. All meetings are on Zoom. Parents who attend will earn panda tickets and prizes for your student!

Enrollment for the 2022- 2023 is available for all or NEW LAUSD students going into ETK through 2nd grade.
For the following school year 2023- 2024, more information is forthcoming.

MORNING procedures
Willis & Nordhoff Gates open at 7:20am
Masks are not required unless staff or student has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in close contact with a positive case. Masks are required for 6-10 days after exposure.
Dismissal procedures
Students will line up outside by two gates. Staff will radio call and students will be sent to the gates.
UTK, TK, & KINDERGARTEN
Willis Gate - Walking only, no drive-through pick ups. Rooms 1, 2, 3 line up at main gate. Rooms 4 & 9 line up at the MPR.
1st & 2nd GRADE
Nordhoff Gate- Valet & walking ok. There will be two lines- one line for 2nd grade, and the other for 1st grade.
Siblings will go to older sibling's gate.

Uniform Policy
SHOES
Closed toe, low heels. No open-toed slippers or heels.
TOPS
Solid blue, white, or grey collared shirt, or any color Primary Academy t-shirt.
PANTS / SHORTS
Solid navy blue, khaki/tan, or jeans.
SKIRTS / DRESSES
Solid navy blue or khaki, mid-thigh or longer.

KINDNESS WEEK
During the 2022 KINDNESS WEEK, we celebrated with a wall showing our "acts of kindness", themed dress days, and reminders that we should all be kind, all the time.

Traffic safety reminders
Parents: Please follow these safety rules:
- No double-parking on Willis Avenue
- No parking in the coned valet-zone along Nordhoff in the mornings.
- Use all crosswalks, and be aware of moving vehicles.
- Staff parking lot is for school staff only.
- Our Campus Aides in vests will monitor the areas.
